About Us:
The DoctorFunnyWoman.com website is owned and operated by Ayodele Olugbemi,MD (pseudonym: Adele Obemi).

A physician with specialist training in Family practice and Ob/Gyn, she has a special interest in women's and children's health. A member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists as well as the Royal College of General Practitioners (of the United Kingdom), she holds a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (UK) and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice.

Raised in Nigeria, West Africa where she did her basic medical training she moved to Britain in the early '90s to pursue specialist medical (residency) training in Ob/Gyn and subsequently family practice. Shortly after completing this came relocation to the USA. She currently lives in Maine with her husband and three children.

My Website Story:
You're probably wondering how a medical doctor and total technophobe came to start a women's health humour website. I myself am still totally amazed that I, a near computer illiterate , could have created this website from scratch all on my own.

I thought it would be a nice idea to have a website about women's health (since I know a bit about that area) through which I could share information and helpful advice with other people especially women. However, I didn't have a clue where to start and didn't know a word of HTML code.
Then I stumbled on a website building package called Site Build It! and the rest is "history" as they say. Click on the link below to know more.
